Boronia - Plum Bells

‘Plum Bells’ is spectacular in flower in the spring. It is perfect for container growing or in semi-shaded locations in the garden. This lovely delicate flowering shrub has fine evergreen leaves, and produces highly scented, deep pink-magenta round bell flowers.

Perfect in cottage and native gardens, coastal areas, mass plantings or filler plants as well as a border or low to medium hedge. Plant in a sheltered spot in dappled shade. Free-draining slightly acid soil with plenty of organic matter to help keep the roots cool will give best results. Tolerates a light frost. Water regularly - don't let Boronia dry out or become waterlogged. Pruning after flowering will help give the plant shape and encourage new growth.
