A spectacular compact Japanese maple with feathered leaves and an elegant, cascading, umbrella shaped, spreading habit. One of the most striking varieties, shifting colour with the seasons.
It’s a great performer in the garden or a large pot, in sun or dappled shade, where its leaves will change from deep purple in spring to purple-green, then crimson in autumn.
