It is one of the most popular pines for Japanese style gardens.
By removing older needles, an interesting branch structure can be revealed.
This creates a beautiful specimen in a patio pot, especially when placed in front of a blank wall.
It is capable of growing more than 2 metres, but easily control with pruning.
