Small deciduous shrub with bright, glossy green leaves that turn yellow in Autumn. Scarlet flowers appear in Summer, followed by development of edible fruit in late Summer to early Spring.
Plant in well-draining soil in full sun to part shade. Frost hardy and drought resistant but will need summer watering to fully fruit. Trim to keep the tree to a manageable size, can also be kept in large containers.
